Live Heart Rate Pro is a heart-rate monitoring and workout-tracking app. To provide this functionality, the app accesses your heart rate from a paired Wear OS smartwatch's heart-rate sensor, or, if you choose to use that mode instead, a connected Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate monitor. Depending on your device's Android version, this is done using the BODY_SENSORS / BODY_SENSORS_BACKGROUND permissions or, on newer Wear OS versions, the android.permission.health.READ_HEART_RATE and android.permission.health.READ_HEALTH_DATA_IN_BACKGROUND permissions.
We access and collect the following health and fitness data in order to display it to you and to build your workout history:
How this data is used: your heart rate is displayed to you live on screen during a workout, used to calculate the workout statistics listed above, and used to drive optional features you enable, such as heart-rate zone alerts, high/low heart-rate alerts, and vibration alerts on your paired watch.
Where this data is stored: your heart rate and workout data are stored locally on your device. If you use a paired Wear OS watch, your heart rate is transmitted directly between your watch and phone over Bluetooth (via the Google Play Services Wearable Data Layer) to keep a live workout in sync. This health data is not uploaded to Redshoes Apps' servers, is not sold, and is not shared with any third party or used for advertising.
Your control over this data: you can permanently delete an individual workout, and the heart rate data recorded with it, at any time from the Workout List screen. Uninstalling the app removes all remaining health data from your device. You can also revoke the app's heart-rate/body-sensor permission at any time from your device's system Settings, which will stop the app from accessing your heart rate.
Whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
